JAL is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered in 2016. We provide services through our 2 institutions, which are SHINE Children's Home and AYUSH Old-Age Home. These homes are dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to children battling cancer and destitute senior citizens in Pondicherry.

    SHINE Home offer free accommodation, nutritious meals, medical care and transport to and from JIPMER hospital, fostering and nurturing environment where children can heal alongside their mothers. AYUSH Home provides a safe haven for up to 30 abandoned seniors offering free clothing, medical assistance, and home-cooked meals.

    Both Homes emphasize holistic well-being through informal education, skills training, and engaging activities, ensuring residents lead fulfilling lives during their stay.
